Clarisse 4.0 User Guide

Rules allow to dynamically set the Group content by typing text rules. Items which names (full names) match the rules are then automatically included in the group. There are two types of rules:

  • inclusive which adds to the group any items matching the rule set in Inclusion Rule.
  • exclusive which removes from the group any items matching the rule set in Exclusion Rule.

 

Note

In any case, only objects that match the Group specified class Filter will be referenced.

 

Text Rules are set in the rule attributes respectively Inclusion Rule and Exclusion Rule. To add multiple rules, you can use the semicolon ; character.

Rules Examples:

Note

Group rules filter items in the same way than Shading Layer Rules do.

 

Since Clarisse 3.0 is it possible to use Search Path for rule path resolution.
