# Utility#

The Utility integrator renders images by ignoring scene lights and evaluating, by default, only the basic diffuse component of materials. This can be changed changing the Output mode.

Mode Description
Raw Color Evaluate the basic diffuse component of materials. When a material is assigned to default://material it is rendered pink.
Simple Shading Uses the color set in the Display Color of the scene object. The rendering is similar to the simple shading mode of the 3D View.
Color Uses a plain color or the texture assigned to the Color attribute.
