Vertex Color Map#
Clarisse can support vertex color maps for geometries defining vertex color maps that have been exported from Z-Brush as OBJ. To access to the vertex color map information, you must use a Vertex Color Map texture.
Vertex Color Maps are identified by index. To access to the proper color map of a geometry, set its index using the Index attribute of the texture. When no vertex color map is found at the specified index, the texture returns pure black (0,0,0,0).
This node is only useful when working with OBJs files that are exported from Z-Brush. For other file formats such as Alembic or USD, vertex color maps are declared as geometry properties. They are accessed using the Extract Property texture.
